I mainly just used the pen tool... which took me a while to get used to! I also filled some spots in with the paint bucket and used the paintbrush. I have never used Illustrator before so this was really hard for me! :( I need some more work with this program.

This was my first time working with Illustrator too and I did the "Vases" still life as well. I just thought you should know that you were not alone in feeling challenged here. I got pretty darn frustrated this week?! :P Hopefully our self portrait will go a bit more smoothly though! :)
