The metaphor I used was from the song Woman Tonight by the artist Atmosphere.
In this Image, I took several pictures of the artist and turned them into pieces of a puzzle. I first had to create an alpha mask of a puzzle piece. Next I copied layers and added the mask until one entire image had been turned into pieces. Then I started all over with each of the following Images. Most of the edges are still rough... or appear to have missing pieces. I could have gone through and added more images until it was a perfect square, but I like it better with pieces missing...and not fitting right. To understand you may need some more insight on Slug(the singer). He doesn't fit into his life quite right, so having pieces missing...or fitting at weird angles coming together as something not at all perfect and tidy is very fitting for this song.
Also, in each mask I used inner and outer shadows and glows, as well as a color overlay with some opacity to create similar edges and coloring for the pieces.

I really liked how you made everything work in this piece. I also thought that you made the whole composition fit together. One thing that I really thought you did amazing at was how you made it look very organized. Great Job!
